This March, I had the opportunity to photograph MRC Barcelona 2025, one of the most important global events dedicated to payment security and fraud prevention. Held over three days at the CCIB (Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona), the conference brought together top industry leaders, innovators, and solution providers from around the world.

Organized by the Merchant Risk Council, the event featured a packed agenda with keynote speeches, expert panels, and hands-on workshops. Major sponsors like J.P. Morgan and Visa Acceptance Solutions supported sessions that explored the latest in fraud mitigation, authentication, and payment technologies.

Some of the featured sessions included:

  • Fraud 201 with Chris Wade and Jason Lane-Sellers

  • Payments 201 with Lee Clifton, Micheál Egan, Julia Körffer-Höhne, and Allan Shearer

  • The Women in Payments & Fraud (WPF) Panel, featuring voices like Natalie Dunne (CPFPP), Danièle Thillmann (CPFPP), Patricia Brolly, and Ana Reiley

The exhibit hall buzzed with activity, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and services from companies such as Mastercard, Adyen, Shopify, Stripe, and more. It was also a privilege to photograph speakers like Ashley Yeh, Matteo Gamba, Jon F., Rema R., and Andreas Zodhiates, among others—each contributing valuable insight to this fast-evolving space.

Note: All images shown are extracted from MRC’s official LinkedIn page.

As a Barcelona-based event photographer, I was on-site all three days to capture both the formal energy of the talks and the candid moments that define professional gatherings—networking, idea-sharing, and spontaneous hallway conversations.

If you’re organizing a conference, panel, or corporate event in Barcelona and need a photographer who understands how to visually tell the story of your brand, I’d love to hear from you.
