As a Barcelona photographer, I have the privilege of capturing many special moments, but this one stood out. A recent proposal in the enchanting Gothic Quarter was particularly memorable. A lovely LGBTI couple, visiting from abroad, strolled through the historic streets, admiring the ancient architecture. Unbeknownst to one of them, her partner had a surprise planned.

At a secluded corner near the Cathedral of Barcelona, she got down on one knee and proposed. The look of surprise and joy was indescribable. Tears of happiness flowed as she said «yes,» and the couple embraced amidst the applause of passersby.

Being able to document such an intimate and significant event was truly a privilege. The love and emotion shared between the two were palpable, and every photograph taken that day tells a story of love, surprise, and happiness.
